PAUL STANLEY: KISS NEXT WEEK IN THE STUDIO!!!
Paul Stanley, dei KISS, è stato ospite de “Happy Hour” su Fox Business network. Durante la trasmissione, Stanley ha confermato che lui, Gene Simmons e il resto dei KISS saranno in studio la prossima settimana per registrare il nuovo album, ancora senza titolo in uscita per l'autunno 2009.

Guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley, of the iconic rock band KISS, was a guest on “Happy Hour” on the Fox Business network. During the segment, Stanley confirmed to that he, Gene Simmons and the rest of KISS would be entering the studio next week to grind out a new, but yet to be titled record, for a Fall 2009 release.

BW&BK riporta che secondo Fneprintlit.com, il KISS Kompendium di Gene Simmons e Paul Stanley, composto da ben 1280 pagine, sarà in uscita il 27 Ottobre edito da Collins Designis.
KISS Kompendium è una compilation di tutti i KISS comics che racconterà le avvenure dei quattro KISS supereroi che combattano il male insieme alle icone dei fumetti come Spiderman, gli X-Men, i Fantastici 4, Hulk e Wolverine. L'introduzione sarà scritta da Gene Simmons.
BW&BK reports that according to Fneprintlit.com, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley's KISS Kompendium, featuring 1280 pages, will be released on October 27th via Collins Design.
KISS Kompendium is a compilation of all KISS comics featuring the adventures of the band's four superhero characters defeating evil with comic icons like Spiderman, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Hulk and Wolverine. The foreword is written by Gene Simmons.

Eliteworks among many amazing KISS memorabilia is selling a STAGE USED Gene Simmons blood cup from the first KISS reunion tour with Gene, Ace, Peter, and Paul. Gene Simmons used this cup to drink his stage blood and then tossed it into the photo pit (the area in front of the stage) before his solo began during the SuperDome/New Orleans stop on the historic Alive/Worldwide Tour on July 9, 1996. Several pieces of confetti from the show are still attached. The stage blood has dried and it looks perfect. This is a real one-of-a kind gem!

ERIC ON NEW KISS ALBUM AND TOUR
Eric, intervistato in merito al nuovo album, ha confermato quanto mi aveva riferito settimana scorsa, nessuna registrazione fatta ad oggi.
"L' unica cosa certa è che saremo in tour in Sud America in Aprile."
E' probabile quindi che sia Paul che Gene e forse Tommy stiano scrivendo e componendo demos separatamente. Quando saranno pronte le demos entreranno in studio a registrare "velocemente" come ha recentemente detto Gene a Pagina12....Wait and see!!!

Telefono, ciao sono Fabio ti chiamo per l’intervista con Bruce..Si certo facciamo alle 15 in albergo, va bene? Va bene???? Benissimo!!! ok grazie a questo pomeriggio!!!
Bene, mi metto in macchina con 15 minuti di anticipo rispetto alla tabella di marcia, devo farmi 130km, non si sa mai.
Infatti, manco a dirlo, grazie alle sempre fantastiche segnalazioni stradali italiane, salto l’uscita corretta.
Fantastico! Piede a tavoletta mi faccio 50 km in più, sperando che non ci sia nessuno a controllare i limiti di velocità…ore 15:00 entro nella hall dell’albergo!
Nicolas mi viene incontro, ci salutiamo e chiama Bruce che è in camera.
Mi siedo con lui al bar dell’albergo, c’e anche Chuck (Garric) che mi da un sguardo di traverso, mi saluta e riprende a sorseggiare un bicchiere di vino.
Mi guardo intorno per vedere se incrocio John (Corabi) o con ancora più ansia Eric (Singer), niente l’albergo è deserto.
Il tempo di tirare fuori i fogli con le domande che mi sono preparato e arriva Bruce….
Sorride, credo di sorridere anch’io ma non so che faccia ho.
Mi chiede subito se voglio bere o mangiare qualcosa, no grazie! (non so come farei a mandarlo giù!)
Ordina un panino e una bottiglietta d’acqua e ci sediamo.

Friday 13th February, phone call with Nicolas, ESP Tour manager, target: to fix an interview with Bruce.
He had been very vogue by e-mail... Let’s hope.
I call, “Hi it’s Fabio, I’m calling to set up the interview with Bruce ... Yes, 3 p.m. at the hotel, is it OK for you? OK? It’s great! Thank you, see you later!
Well, I’m in the car 15 minutes earlier then the foreseen time table, I have to drive 130km, you never know.
In fact, I miss the right highway exit, thanks to the usually fantastic Italian road signs.
Great! I push the pedal to the max, I have 50 km more to ride, hoping there’s nobody there checking speed limits ... 3:00 p.m. : I walk in the Hotel lobby!
Nicolas comes to me, we shake hands and he calls Bruce who’s still in his room.
I sit down with him at the Hotel bar, Chuck (Garric) is also there, he gave me an eye, says hallo and he goes on drinking a glass of a red wine.
I look around to see if John (Corabi) is in there too or with even more anxiety if Eric (Singer) is there, none, the hotel is a desert.
Just the time to pull out the sheets with the questions I prepared and Bruce comes in....
He smiles at me , I smile too I believe, but I do not know which kind of face I have...
He immediately asks me if I want to drink or eat something, no thanks! (I don’t know how to send it down!)
He orders a sandwich and a bottle of water and he sits down.

GENE SIMMONS ON NEW KISS ALBUM
Recentemente Gene ha parlato con Pagina12 (thx Bruno) in merito al prossimo concerto dei KISS in Argentina e di altre cose, ecco quello che a detto in merito al nuovo album dei KISS:
Stiamo per realizzare un nuovo album prodotto da Paul, perché io non ho la pazienza di entrare in uno studio e viverci per sei mesi. Chi meglio di Paul per questo? L'idea è di fare il disco velocemente, come ai tempi di Destroyer, Rock and Roll Over e Love Gun. Ma dobbiamo essere pronti, per questo stiamo lavorando sulle canzoni quando abbiamo tempo. Forse nel mese di marzo entreremo in uno studio per registrare due o tre pezzi. L'idea è di lavorare bene, a poco a poco, non possiamo passare troppo tempo in studio, dovrà essere veloce.
Recently Gene talked to Pagina12 (thx Bruno) about KISS playing in Argentina and many other topics, among them this is what the demon said about new KISS record:
We are making a new album produced by Paul, because I do not have the patience to get into a studio and stay there for six months. Who better than Paul for that? The idea is to make the record quickly, like we did at the time of Destroyer, Rock And Roll Over and Love Gun. But we must be prepared, so we are now working on songs when we have time. Maybe in March we will go in a studio and recorded two or three songs. The idea is to work well, little by little, we can not spend too much time in the studio, it has to be fast.
ERIC SINGER ON NEW KISS ALBUM
Lo scorso venerdì ho avuto l'opportunità di parlare un pò con Eric e tra le tante cose, gli ho chiesto se canterà qualche pezzo, oltre ai cori, sul prossimo album dei KISS.
"Non lo so proprio! Molti fans continuano a farmi domande su come sarà il nuovo album, quando uscirà, ma non so dirti niente, non sono neanche entrato in studio con loro..."

The mixing is half-way finished.
He's starting to think about artwork/packaging/etc. now, but it's probably going to be mid-year before the album comes out, at the earliest, with all of the commitments he has. Bruce is really
anxious to finish, though, and it will be more than worth the wait!

Giorni fa il New York Times scriveva che il nostro Gene, mentre si trovava al SIA, una delle manifestazioni per gli sport invernali più grandi al mondo per promuovere i suoi prodotti MoneyBag ha
scoperto che Faction Collective SA, un produttore di sci con sede in Svizzera, aveva una nuova grafica (vedi foto) per i suoi sci , senza alcuna licenza di sfruttamento dell'immagine con lui.
"Se sei un bootlegger, e se pensi di guadagnarci qualcosa illegalmente, ti costerà di più difenderti che semplicemente ottenere una licenza. Pensano di cavarsela e di ottenere qualcosa ma
sono solo dei parassiti , fino a quando non incontrano Gene Simmons, che i parassiti gli uccide."
Janzen, il resposabile di Faction Collective, ha offerto a Simmons gli sci.

Days ago The New York Times reported that our Gene while attending the S.I.A., one of the snow-sport industry’s biggest trade show, promoting his MoneyBag products, discovered that Faction Collective
S.A., a ski manufacturer based in Switzerland, displayed new graphics on its big-mountain powder skis, without any license agreement with him.
“If you’re a bootlegger, and you think you’re going to get by and put something out illegally, it will cost you more to defend that than simply getting a license.
They think they can get by being a nuisance, just pests, until they meet Gene Simmons, who kills pests dead.
Janzen, who was manning the booth for the Faction Collective, offered to give Simmons the skis. Instead, Simmons gave Janzen his lawyer’s contact information!!!

MORE VINTAGE KISS CLIPS RELEASED TO PROMOTE ONLINE AUCTIONS
As promised last week, three additional never-before-available privately owned clips of KISS from the 1970s and 80s have been made available online. This week clips include footage from the "KISS
Day" in-store the band did during their Summer '76 Tour in Atlanta, Georgia, Gene walking through a hotel lobby without makeup in 1980, and part two of the 1979 321 Contact outtakes.

This footage is being released to promote a continuing series of vintage KISS memorabilia auctions on eBay. Breakout items among this week's 55 lots include an
original 1973 KISS concert poster from the Coventry club, Peter Criss's personal "KISS" balloon from Japan 1977, a band-signed Revenge promo poster, as well as several other vintage KISS promo
posters, and even KISS LP's which were once owned by original KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley.

Come DeuceNews aveva anticipato il primo di Febbraio Paul apparirà sul nuovo album dei Pushking che avrà il titolo di "The world as we love it".
Il titolo del pezzo è "Cut the wire".

BRUCE KULICK ON PURE
Chris Laney, un songwriter/produttore/artista svedese, uscirà tramite Metal Heaven con il suo primo album il 27 Marzo, il titolo è "Pure". Tutte le canzoni del CD sono scritte da Laney con alcuni co-writers come Bruce Kulick (KISS, UNION, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD), Lennart Östlund (LED ZEPPELIN, THE ROLLING STONES, ABBA, GENESIS), Mats Levén (THERION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) e altri.

Numerose clips mai viste dei KISS degli anni 70 e 80 sono ora in vendita on line insieme a numerose memorabilia e incredibili foto.
Several never-before-available privately owned clips of KISS from the 1970s and 80s have been made available online to promote a series of vintage KISS
memorabilia auctions on eBay. This marks the first time that retro footage of any band has been released specifically for such a purpose.
The footage, which ranges from the band’s first tour in 1974 - through their colorful period in the 1980s includes everything from Gene without makeup in 1980, to the infamous 1974 Paul Stanley
“bandit makeup” film, outtakes from the Cadillac, Michigan and KISS Meets The Phantom concerts, to what appears to be an unreleased pro-shot from the Asylum
Tour.
Additional clips will be made available each week as more auctions are listed.

What was your experience like meeting Kiss for the first time?
It was at under the Forum Club (the LA Forum) after the show. They had very elaborate catering complete with huge
ice sculptures of their band name. I saw Michael Jackson there but I've seen him a lot because we were neighbors in Encino, California.

Ageing rockers Kiss still have groupies.
Guitarist Paul Stanley, 57, claims the band get propositioned by female fans just as much as they did in their heyday, adding the only difference now is they don't "indulge" in sex as often.
Explaining how women chase after the group, Paul explained: "They are there in abundance. The only thing that changes is whether you choose to indulge. But the buffet is always there!"
The rocker added he, singer Gene Simmons - who claims to have slept with over 1,000 women - guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer are heading back to the studio to record their next album
for release this autumn.
He confirmed to the New York Post newspaper: "It's a Kiss album in the most true and classic sense - we're recording it in analogue, not digital, and writing it ourselves."
Gene has previously claimed he has slept with so many woman as he thinks it's "rude" not to bed groupies.
He explained: "Think of me as a goodwill ambassador. The poor girls spend hours putting on their make-up and their perfume.
"How rude would it be if that got ignored? Otherwise, they'll feel their self-esteem lower. You don't want that happening. I'm a Good Samaritan. It's my good-natured side."
